ARGOS TV Merchandising

 

Argos has the UK’s biggest range of TVs but nature of their store formats means there is only space to display a small proportion of them. Our task was to help optimise the TV
in-store display and encourage cross-sell of add on products (Blu-ray players, scart cables etc) to improve the margin on
TV sales.

We undertook a research program to understand the Argos shopper journey and TV buying behaviours. Drawing on these insights, we developed a merchandising solution based on range and value, and a unique proposition positioning Argos as the only straight talking, definitive guide to TV technology. This simple in-store messaging demystified  the technical jargon surrounding TVs, and acted as the ‘silent salesman’.
