Head of Design - Retail - Leeds office

Overview: Reporting to a director, you will be required to manage the day to day running of our non-fashion retail accounts and the team of creatives working for you, both permanent and freelance. You will take briefs from all members of the account team, brief the work into your team, give direction and approve all your team’s work.

This role requires someone who is strong conceptually and equally adept at creating scamps and mac visuals, working with type and producing well thought through comms; the role requires a hands-on approach and you will be actively working on live projects yourself during the working day. This is a fast paced job and will suit those who enjoy thinking on their feet, adapting to deadlines, juggling priorities and motivating and getting the best out of their colleagues. The role requires a good grasp of the shopper journey, an instinct for understanding shopper missions and the importance of message hierarchy in the retail environment and along the path to purchase.

About the roles

We have vacancies within our Leeds account management team at all levels from Account Exec to Senior Account Manager, primarily working on high profile fmcg brand accounts. Candidates must have relevant experience both by accounts worked on and length of service relevant to their grade.
