MATALAN Store Of The Future

 

Matalan is a modern day retail success story. To maintain that success, they asked us to help them understand their shoppers (who they are, how they shop the store and what the really think of the brand) in order to help define a vision for the store of the future.

We built an in-depth holistic picture of the Matalan shopper through a series of quant and qual methods, including video mapping of shopper journeys, accompanied shops, in store focus groups and staff interviews.

The result was a series of recommendation, which have been implemented in their test store. Results have far exceeded expectation with a national roll out pending.
